My orientation week at IIAD has been a great success.

I had a lot of fun interacting with my peers. The food carnival was a great learning experience for me as I got to explore and experiment with different food items.

We got the opportunity to express our creativity through food.

What I learnt working in a group was that all of us were good at something or the other, as individuals we all have our strengths and weaknesses and by working in a group we were able to hide each others weaknesses and make the best use of our strengths

.

My most favourite activity in which I felt most engaged with was the one in which we actually had to make and experiment with our dishes .I hadn't cooked anything before in my life and that day I made fried heart shaped idli with coconut and red chutney all by myself. It felt so good. We all made our own and different versions of idli.

"Food is much more than what's is on our plates, it has the ability to connect people".
